CIMBS Organizes Camp on Mental Health Awareness for older adults
In order to felicitate the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the popular Cosmos Institute of Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences (CIMBS) in association with Caring Foundation professionally organized a camp on “Mental Health Awareness for Older Adults” at Mulla Colony, Kondli Village, and New Delhi.
It is reported that CIMBS also observing the Mental Health Fortnight starting from October 4 to 18. They comprise several schedules which has many ranges of activities in unique sectors to spread awareness about mental health and well being. The camp was originally organized to kick start their potent creativity with older adults, “Celebrate, Connect and live”. It is trusted that the popular camp would be witnessed by more than 200 individuals. The elderly guests attending the camp were professionally screened for general physical and mental health concerns. The guests with the ones having memory difficulties were then put across Mini Mental Status Examination (MMSE), a standardized psychological tool which is utilized to screen for cognitive impairment.
